Salary: £27k-£30k (dependent on experience) plus £10k+ OTE. Full-time, permanent.
Location: Bristol (Hybrid working, 3 days from office 2 days from a location of your choice)

We are a successful, independent B2B media company, who organise conferences, events and award ceremonies in the US and UK. These events are supported by a subscription-based online news publication and community for the sectors we serve.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Executive to join the growing sales team to work on our USA conference; converting incoming leads, generating new business, and driving exhibition and sponsorship revenue.
The Candidate
You will ideally have at least one year of B2B event sales experience, but really the most important thing is that you have the right attitude, drive, and determination to build successful relationships with key decision-makers within our sector.
You'll be a great rapport builder, possess a great consultative sales approach, with solid objection handling skills, and not be afraid to roll your sleeves up and get the job done.
You’ll be joining a small and passionate team led by our Sales Director, and you will be expected to immerse yourself in the industry (attending relevant events etc) and make the role your own.
You are capable of developing and winning new business whilst continuing to strengthen relationships within an existing client portfolio.
You’ll be a strong negotiator and possess exceptional time management and organisational skills to sell our wide portfolio of products.
Key Requirements Overview:
- Experience in B2B sales with a demonstrable successful sales record
- Event/Experience sales experience (advantageous)
- Flexible and able to work at pace within a highly demanding and at times pressurised environment
- Consultative approach with a strong closing capability
- CRM experience (we use HubSpot)
- Hunger to exceed targets with a tenacious attitude
- Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills
In-depth knowledge of our target market is not essential, but the ability to quickly grasp its fundamentals will be! Integrity and being a team player are equally key.
